Tamar comes to The Possible Project with a social enterprise and international development background including a love for youth engagement. Before TPP, Tamar lived in India for one year as the Outreach and Social Media Coordinator for BookBox, a literacy education company. To get to India, she studied social enterprises and impact investing through Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey as part of the Frontier Market Scout (FMS) fellowship. Previous to FMS, Tamar participated in StartingBloc, a transformative innovation, and entrepreneurship professional development program directly after graduating from Binghamton University where she studied International Social Change (yes, she created her own major) with a minor in Africana Studies. Tamar also has years of experience working as a summer camp counselor at Camp Yavneh in New Hampshire creating dynamic and fun programming for teenagers. Outside of TPP, you can find Tamar going on adventures whether it be hiking, traveling, learning about the stars, or getting lost staring at maps. Don’t judge, as a life-long vegetarian, Tamar has been found eating a green pepper like an apple.
