Volunteers at The Possible Project help students graduate from high school, complete a post-secondary education or training program, and enter a career that will pay a living wage. With an entrepreneurial mindset and the skills learned at TPP, a student can do anything.
Meet the newest cohort of students who are five weeks into the program. Panelists will listen to student businesses pitch, ask questions, provide feedback, and suggest concrete next steps for their proposed ideas. Each business can earn an investment from TPP, which they can use to develop their prototype or launch their business. *Complete a Volunteer Interest Form before signing up.
Students in Levels 1 and 3 participate in big pitch events, where they present in front of business professionals and local executives. The stakes are high and our students are nervous! Pitch mentors listen to students practice their pitches and provide advice on how to improve. *Complete a Volunteer Interest Form to sign up.
The stakes have been raised for our upper levels. Students have been in the program now for three terms, have started their business, and will be pitching their business in front of an audience. Panelists will listen to venture teams present on a variety of business topics, ask Qs and provide feedback. Topics range from: business concept, marketing strategy, costs, profit margin, customer service, quality control, and investment budget.
